I need clothing advice. I’m short, fat, bosomy, and in my 40s. I tried to buy some decent pieces for work and have failed. I don’t want to look like everyone’s mom, but I also want to be comfortable. I used to live in knit dresses but that was when I was younger and frankly, smaller. I dread going in because I haven’t a clue what to wear. We’re business casual.

A week ago, HR is asking me if there’s anything the company can do to help alleviate my mental health issues because I am basically drowning. 😀 This week, they’re calling me and harassing me about not working from home and communicating my absences with enough people at the office per “policy” when I have COVID.

Does anyone else feel like some people are taking social distancing way too seriously? I’ll be walking down the sidewalk (in Brooklyn) and some people will move over as much as humanly possible or they’ll stop completely and stand behind a parked car until I pass. You can see a look of almost terror/worry in their eyes. And we both have masks on.
I‘ve currently got 5 years sales experience (sales advisor, sales specialist and currently SDR). I’m looking to stay in my SDR role for a year and then venture out. The companies I’ve worked for have been in the telecommunications and now fintech industry. What is the trajectory for sales role post sales manager or what are other career avenues I could explore with my sales experience.
