Is it bad to request pto during busy season?

Im a second yr at a firm with a "flexible vacation policy" how many days would be acceptable to take off? I have never taken a day off and im on track to bill over 2200 hours (1900 requirement).

Am I crazy for asking my manager to go to the non mandatory training and leaving my SC to defend for themselves for almost 2 weeks?

I asked 3 of my higher ups to write me letters of recommendation a month ago when I put in my resignation. I went on PTO for a couple weeks & followed up with my manager today. He told me “actually I was told we aren’t allowed to write them for you. Sorry.”

I asked why and he just shrugged and continued the conversation...

I have been at my company for a little less than 4 years now. I’ve had the third highest sales last year out of a team of 50 and consistently the highest outbound calls per week. They told me I can start WFH once I hit $1mil in profit, but then rescinded right before I hit the goal. I've been with my agency for over 3+ years. This is the first agency I'm at and I've been without a mentor or an exact career path this whole time. It's been a lot of waiting and promises that things will get better. I've been approached by another agency recently by my previous manager, but working with that person is difficult. I’ve just started at a new job, where my manager seems to be clueless. Things get approved by her, but then I get into trouble with HER manager. When this happens, my direct manager doesn’t step in, and I have to explain myself. This has forced me to constantly go above her to the next manager directly, which is frustrating and uncomfortable. Currently studying for the DP-100 exam. Any tips/tricks for studying? I'm currently using the MeasureUp practice test, taking a Udemy course, and looking through the self paced study material.

MeasureUp: a lot of really obscure questions and the documentation references aren't great.

Udemy & Self-Paced Doumentation: very high level and the practice questions are too easy. I could answer most without following the material.

Also, there isn't a lot of overlap between the study materials.
