If you have cash to burn and where you go is important, Aspen Snowmass has great beginner lessons and you learn a ton in a day. If you want to learn without coming home to brag about where you went, just go to your local ski mountain (no matter how small). Bunny slopes are the same everywhere. Learning out west with powder is easier (you’ll be on your own in no time); if you learn on the east coast with ice snow you’ll fall a ton but arguably be better for it.

Agree! Bunny slopes are bunny slopes—the only difference is if you’re in a okay location (think man made snow) it willl hurt a lot more when you fall—bruising. My top suggestions if you want to spend coin are Whistler, Tahoe, and Vail.

Mt Bachelor in Oregon. Lots of blues and greens, long runs too

I would appreciate any advice on how to stay on top of non urgent tasks. As a 2nd year, I’m often tapped to handle tedious tasks that need to get done quickly. Tbh, I like urgent matters. It motivates me and helps me focus. I admittedly struggle to care about checking in on DWQs, record requests, OC’s discovery, scheduling matters, etc. Especially with so many cases. I definitely rely heavily (maybe over rely?) on the paralegals for these sort of things. Any tips?

One of your roommates (and a close friend that you’ve known for years) has a flight to catch. He has a suitcase, a duffle bag (no wheels), and a backpack. In order for him to get to the airport would you:

A) offer to drive him to the airport that’s about .5 miles away (5 minute drive)

B) tell him to order an Uber since you know his work would pay for it

C) tell him to not be lazy and walk half a mile to the nearest public transportation stop, with all that luggage, and take public transit
