Do you find companies today interview without empathy, over-valuing technical skill, pressure tests, and first impressions? A follow-up to this, if you’ve been hired by a company based on your skills, ability to perform under pressure, and first impression- did you feel you made the right decision once settled in your role? I’m analyzing the evolution of interviews and a human-centered approach.
I have appeared for nagarro interview. I cleared first 3 online rounds (Aptitude, technical, coding). After those rounds they took 4 in-person technical rounds. Generally they take 2 technical rounds but in my case they took 4 rounds. What could be the reason behind that ? I had 4th round today and waiting for the result. YOE - 8 years (.Net full stack)
Is it just in my experience or are recruiters/hiring managers really reluctant these days to discuss salary bands for a given role? My logic for asking is to determine if I should consider a given role or pass if doesn't meet my salary requirements rather than continue additional interviews and find out later. Thoughts?
Hi, I was contacted for a role and had phone screening interview. I wanted to flag so others can know, I live in mcol and I just received an offer for 120k base and a 15k signing bonus. I have three years of experience. I asked for a signing bonus and a 110k salary. If you are a senior, you should definitely be applying and just see what comes up. Crazy the market for seniors right now

What do you look for when interviewing a junior associate (2-3 year) for an in-house associate counsel position? What are your expectations with respect to substantive knowledge? I have some interviews for associate counsel positions at some later-stage startup tech firms and would love some advice on how to stand out from all the other biglaw junior associates.
Can anyone give more color on the difference between what the “focus” interview and the “behavioral” interview entails for a consultant . Coming in laterally and recruiter didn’t provide much detail! thanks
Seems like I can get to advanced/final rounds of interviews for these tech companies (manager roles) but keep getting turned down when it comes to offers. Does anyone have any interview tips on how to close?

At what point do you tell yourself that the interview process for a startup isn’t worth it, especially coming out of a consulting firm?
I think I bombed my Facebook interview 😭😭😭
I'm looking at applying for a job with a company that is apparently an audit client. I'm in international tax but wasn't really aware that the application would ask me if I was employed by the company's auditor in the past 3 years and if I have a financial or business relationship or affiliation with the Company’s outside audit firm or its members (partners, managers). I think the answer is yes to both. Will this cause an issue with my application?
Just got turned down by Amazon after two extensive writing assignments, 6 interviews and hours spent preparing. And their policy doesn’t allow them to give feedback when an offer is not made. Talk about a bruised ego. The only silver lining is staying long enough to collect the October and January big law bonuses and then I’m out! The question is where else pays like Amazon?!
I have sent out probably 140 applications in the last 2 weeks to analyst/project management roles across the country and haven’t heard anything back besides a few rejections. Is this normal? So much time invested in applying and I’m feeling discouraged. 1 year of experience in consulting/project management for a start up consulting firm, business degree from a pretty good state school.
Today I got my offer letter from EY GDS. I have 2 yrs 9 months of experience. They're offering me the position of Software Engineer, rank 44, although I was senior systems engineer in Infosys. When can I expect to be promoted to senior software engineer in EY? When can I expect next hike?
