Best resources to learn about real estate investing?

I have declared 1.5L in 80C on HGS portal. However major chunk of that amount will be invested after Jan. What should I do on being asked for investment proof in Dec? And what will happen if i am unable to produce the proof for 1.5L declared ?

All hype stocks have performed very poorly for me. Purchased NNDM, CCIV, AMC, BB, UWMC, PLTR. Wish I had done more DD, stuck to the fundamentals, and not succumbed to greed.

Thankfully the total amount invested in these is <5K and might just be an expensive lesson learnt. Hope these turn a corner in the future!

My Last working date at Wipro is 12th of june 2022, So How tax will be calculated for the financial year 2022-2023. My CTC is 8.4L
I will be working only 3 months for this financial year and in April month payslip i can see 6K deducted for tax and in the IT projection it shows around 30k tax deduction gonna happen. I will be joining another Firm in same june month

US Lawyers in London: how are you doing your taxes in US and UK to avoid double taxation? Do you use an accountant?

I racked up about $20k in credit card debt due to a confluence of things happening at once (move, school expenses , etc ). I have a fair amount of paper assets but not a much free cash. Assets are down a decent amount with the current market cycle and I’d prefer not to sell them to cover the debt , although they easily could. Any suggestions how to handle the credit card debt without racking up tons of ongoing card interest?

Has anyone read Governor Kemp’s order (Georgia)? My firm won’t shut down unless mandated by the government. All of the attorneys have work-from-home capabilities but we are not being permitted to.

Took the GRE and ended up performing poorly relative to my practice tests (326-331 on practice compared to 323 on test day). Am pretty disappointed, but is it worth retaking the test if I’m aiming for T15 (generally)? Thanks!

Just me or do people who have not had Covid not understand the the seriousness of the long term fatigue one is left with.

My bf is having a hard time with SIP and has admitted that he’s bored. We live together, both WFH (thankfully). I enjoy my work and don’t mind working late because it’s needed at the moment. His workload is super light (government job). Whenever I suggest doing a new covid activity all I get back is “nah, I don’t feel like doing that now”. Airbnb has online experiences, there are online museum tours, language learning, etc he doesn’t want to do any of it. But then complains he’s bored.
