As a follow up, 2% return with amazon prime by attaching your debit card for the gift reloads. To qualify for my credit union cash rewards, 12 transactions and $100 spend on debit. 11 $0.50 reloads and 1 $94.50 for 2% immediate cash back. Best find of the week; thanks again!

Charles Schwab is the best Checking account given it offers a debit card that reimburses ATM fees worldwide. The only drawback is that it does not take physical deposits. For savings, I prefer online savings account. I’ve been with Goldman Sachs. I prefer it over other online savings accounts due to its simple yet sufficient and beautiful website, my personal trust to the GS brand, and the speed of transfers (arrive next day). I also keep a credit union Checking account in case I need to deposit cash. I’m loyal to this credit union because it’s affiliated to my school and it waives fees on international wire transfer-ins.

Plus, the customer service of Charles Schwab is the best. (I’ve tried at least 20 banks and interacted with Charles Schwab customer service not less than 5 times.)

concur—schwab is awesome for checking. I use capital one as a savings so I can physically deposit cash somewhere if I have to. No fees/minimums + decent rates

I have 3 accounts. Chase for physical access, Schwab for traveling because of free atm withdrawals, and synchrony for savings rates

Charles Schwab is good. Gives you a good APY. I also have Aspiration and they give you 1% and you also have no ATM fees anywhere in the world (!). I also like to have a physical bank (Chase is my choice) that I can go to. Their service is the best of the big banks in my opinion
