What's with the saturation of self help/ productivity books on social media (reddit, Instagram etc.) ? Not saying I don't mind reading them, but I see this quite a bit. Know a few people who consciously only read non fiction instead. Just thinking aloud over here. Would like to hear what you guys think ?

Any suggestions for self help books on anxiety? Been dealing with anxiety for quite some time now and have been seeing a therapist but also just want to see what other resources are out there.

I don’t know if I am bored/unhappy with my work at pwc or just upset in general with life. I have decided to start seeing a therapist, but feel like life is at a standstill right now. Anyone else feel that way? What are you guys doing to keep up ?

Is it shallow of me for not wanting to date men who make ~1/3rd or 1/4th of what I make?

Have a big pore/acne scar on my face due to a breakout 3 weeks back. I had a big bump that disappeared after a week, so been struggling with this over a month now total. I have never had acne or major breakouts. Had been lucky to have clear skin most of my life (30s now). Looking for some feedback to gauge what I can expect (salary, signing bonus etc). For context I have close to 15 YOE, mostly Health IT program management / “trusted advisor” type of roles .. was out of consulting (in industry) for about 6 years and came back to consulting about a year ago. A colleague I worked with who was technically unskilled and not client facing copied my resume bullets word for word. I don’t think he even understands what he has copied, because he has listed (copied) project stakeholders our team interacted with before he joined the engagement. I’m no longer in the engagement, but while I was there, he would leech off of my work and try to somehow make it his own.
