Currently a big fan of Travelpro International Carryon. Lightweight, spacious for 4 days of clothes (inc dress and casual shoes, sweater, and a few other items without use of expansion zipper).
But the best suitcase is one left unpacked on weeks where I'm working remote!
Suitcase because less wrinkles and i can roll it
My current gig involves smaller regional jet so I carry a soft duffel that fits in overhead and check a pelican/seahorse hard bag if there’s too much stuff (this week have a bottle of booze for a host gift and big books for one of my peers who is interested in information security work)
My work travel is mostly one to two night quick trips and lots of connecting flights, so I almost always go with a smallish leather duffle. Always can find space for it onboard and it’s easier to carry around (easier to get through revolving doors/turnstiles, never have to drag it through slushy streets and sidewalks during the winter). When I use a real suitcase I like my away
Yes. Lay the pants out, fold shirt to fit on top of pants (collar at waist), roll from bottom of legs. Shake out and hang when you arrive
