What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?

Anyone else have a gaslighting parent? I saw a therapist about my mom for years and it helped, but now in biglaw, it can be really hard to deal with. sometimes my mom delivers a punch to the gut via text in between months of being my friend. I guess I’m just so wound up, my mom’s friendship (which is how I characterize it) is a comfort for me. So when she hits me with something randomly spiteful and hurtful, it’s like shock, devastation, loneliness, and anger all at once.

This is for visa, cybersecurity senior manager over IAM operations and compliance (people manager role). im currently in a TPM ic role trying to get into management. 7.5 yoe and nontechnical. Is this competitive? I was told the top end of the base was 215k but reserved for people with prior management experience. Initial offer was low 180k

Any security certification from a reputed org is good, if the goal is to establish credentials with minimal experience. Just know your foundations, that’s all you need to change jobs
