Hello, can someone with amazon provide guidance on how to properly follow up after submitting my application for a non-tech role. I submitted 5 apps so far and will appreciate any guidance or referrals if possible. Positions are related to fraud, investigations, anti-money laundering. CSR
Capital one quicksilver
CSR is no doubt the best and if you're traveling you'll get $300 in travel credits which helps offset the annual fee. I have both the AMEX Gold and the CSR and while the high annual fees scared me at first, I've saved so much in the long run by booking all of my flights with points.
Want for Europe, as in you’re based in Europe or traveling to Europe from the US? If the latter, chase sapphire reserve without a doubt
In the US, traveling to Europe!
CSR if you have enough travel each year to justify the ~$150 net fees
Apple Card or Uber card if you don’t want annual fees in addition to no foreign tx few
Capital One
Used my Capital One Savor recently. While there’s an annual fee, for me it pays for itself given the 4% cash back on restaurants. Think about it... vacation in Europe... what’ll you be spending on food?
Definitely use a Visa or Mastercard as Amex is accepted by fewer vendors than in the USA.
Citi ThankYou. I had 2 international trips last year and opened this card, with annual fee waived for the first year. Closed it before the year was up. You can use points earned from the card to book flights and hotels.
Chase Sapphire is another one I've used in the past as well.
Agree with CSR! If you don’t want one with annual fees, I have Barclaycard arrival and it’s great!
Citi Prestige/Premier combo. Can’t beat 5x on flights, 5x at restaurants, 3x on hotels, and 3x on all other travel.
Best? Amazon Visa signature. $0 annual fee, $0 foreign txn fees. It's my go-to when I'm out of the country.
Regardless of which credit card you get, I suggest also getting a schwab debit. No forex fees, reimbursed all atms. Super convenient domestic and internationally
