Is anyone taking advantage of travel Tuesday?

I just got an email from a recruiter from Google!
Omgomgomgomg
He said that the position is in the Bay Area or New York. I haven’t replied the email. I don’t think we can move to those cities, but I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Does anyone know if Google does remote jobs within US?

Leave your toiletries and gym shoes at the hotel on the weekends. Don't carry it back and forth.
Definitely wireless noise canceling headphones. Also when I'd check in online for my flight, I'd email the front desk my boarding pass and ask them to place it under my door (when traveling back from airports that don't accept mobile boarding passes abroad) to save time trying to print at hotel/client. I'd also check out the night before so I avoid the line of 20 consultants checking out of the same hotel Thursday morning. 2 sets of toiletries - 1 in my bag and 1 at home so I have less to unpack. Plastic bag for laundry in my carry on so I throw everything into the washing machine right away. Sit in an aisle seat so I can get out without waiting for others. Work on the plane when there's no wifi so you can actually be productive. Use todoist to manage tasks. Airline eye cover thingy + noise cancelling headphones to sleep on early morning flights. Portable battery with 1 cable that has all usb adaptors on it. Int'l power adapter with 2 usb slots. 2 power cables (1 fixed in my spot at the client site and 1 for on the go/hotel) so I don't keep plugging and unplugging them every morning. Batch book all travel and immediately choose seats so you're not screwed later. I know this wasn't 1 lol and very unstructured but I got excited 🙊
Also, portable speakers so you can have a dance party while you get ready in the morning 💁🏾♀️
If you get on a plane it'll take you somewhere you currently are not
Clothes steamer ($20-$30). I take one with me every week, and it's a life saver. I always look fresh and crisp, don't have to worry about how neat I pack, and it is 100x quicker and more effective than ironing!
EY1 coming in with that sage advice
OP, hotel staff should be able to do that for you
I'd say: noise cancellation headphones...you become antisocial on the plane but can focus on work so well or just sleep. How did I ever go without them before?
At P2, I usually just hang my dresses in the bathroom with the shower on to steam them out. One less thing to carry.
I leave a 2nd bag (tote bag) with the bellman every Thursday. When I arrive on Monday, it is always in my room waiting for me.
Take the Acela instead of the Thursday evening shuttle
Carry a personal travel cutlery set so you don't have to remember to grab plastic ones.
There's no need to officially check out of the hotel. If they care about your money, you'll get a bill
Great job Mck!
P1, how can you do that?
