YUP! I’ve lived in DC, NYC, Philly, and London. But I’ve been in the CLE the last 6 years and am about to build my 2nd dream house here with my wife for about 1/3 what it would cost in any other city. High standard of living, low cost, great food, nightlife, arts scene, music scene, schools, and parks. Couldn’t ask for more!
Philadelphia - I moved here from NYC. Has everything I enjoyed in NYC without all the costs, people, and travel times. Great job opportunities too
The job market definitely reflects the size of the city, it won’t be like New York etc. But there’s still a ton of opportunities outside of health/pharma. I work for a SaaS company, and the tech scene here is pretty decent. I’m not saying we’re like SF or Austin, but you’re bound to find something you want here if you look
Atlanta
If you like the traffic of Chicago and NY but don’t want the amenities of Chicago/NY (transit, food, arts) then Atlanta is the perfect place!
Dallas
On behalf of all here, no more Californians or New Yorkers, please.

Don’t forget RDU has nonstop to London, Paris, Toronto among some key international routes
Des Moines

Did anyone say RTP? Great schools, healthcare, low cost of living, and traffic is mostly good if you stay in Chapel Hill
Seattle
Charlotte, NC seems to be booming
100 people moving here a day and I made over 100k on my house after just living in it for 3 years. Definitely booming here, plus airport that can get direct anywhere
Kansas city! Hidden gem. Lots of great culture, food, jobs. Best bbq hands down. Growth. Plus the chiefs and royals!

And I don’t live there—I live in Chicago, which I wouldn’t consider underrated
