Call your manager’s manager ?

Write to your manager and copy their manager as well as HR. That way you’re doing due diligence and also not revealing anything you’re not supposed to.
And also chat with your manager 1:1 to let them know you’re leaving so they don’t feel like you didn’t inform them first/personally.

Recalling my first onboarding meeting in-house with the c - suite. Thinking back now recalling that they would often mention if someone they are referring to is a woman. For example, "Oh we have these two women doing x, y, and z and they do it well, a well-oiled machine." etc. I was the only woman in the room. Need a quick point of view all - today on a group call, I asked a new c level male exec if it was fine for me to provide a client with a piece of information we had been discussing on the call (this required his approval). He replied “you’re an adult so tell them what you want”. I was immediately livid and felt it was a totally weird, condescending response. Hi all, I got laid off from my current company (product based) a month ago. Since then I've been looking for new opportunities. This is more of a rant than anything but advice is welcome. I’m so fed up with my manager micromanaging everything. We miss client deadlines frequently because deliverables are backlogged under their review, they make comments on things they weren’t in client discussions about, and won’t listen when told client wanted it X way. I’m at a loss for what to say to them because I’ve tried repeatedly to fix this to no avail.

I got lucky and now have leadership that seems to care about my career growth, but I'm 1. a little overwhelmed taking over a new role from someone who went on parental leave earlier than expected and 2. not used to thinking outside my day to day job, happy to keep my head down and just produce good work.

I have overall experience of 5yrs. Out of which 3years for US healthcare and 2 years for US mortgage. US mortgage domain has now become thinner as industry almost sunk since most of the companies has laid off employees, I was also the victim. Fortunately, got an opportunity to work Optum but heard rumours about the lay-off in our entire process which is creating a frustration and negativity all around. Highly recommend learning your attachment style and emotional mindfulness before stepping into a new relationship or trying to date. I have an avoidant attachment style and finally acknowledged how I was showing up in relationships, which wasn’t contributing to the healthy relationships I said I wanted. I spent most of this year doing a lot of inner work and met an amazing guy with a secure attachment. Our relationship is healthy with a strong foundation.
