Be prepared to talk about markets and economic landscape. Make sure you understand the current policy from the Fed and also study the funds strategy and connect it to economic landscape. Easy!

Know strategies and be yourself. In my experience 90% of HF interviews are fit oriented. Probably depends on the fund though - I've found that the more selective ones are more fit oriented

Hardest part is just getting the interview. If they're hiring, hopefully they are growing / making money this year

Need advice. Interviewing for an internal role to lead a team adjacent to my current team. I’m trying to prepare for the interview, during which I’ll be asked to share my plan for the team. I’ve worked with two of the people on the team who will report to whomever gets this job. I’d like to ask them about the team and what they want/wish were different, but I’m not sure it’s wise to tell them I’m interviewing to be their boss. Not does it feel right to ask under false pretences. Thoughts?

I’m currently in the job market and just finished a recruiter call at an agency based in LA, is it normal for the recruiter to not share what the salary range is for the role? I asked twice, kind of got the run around. When I asked a 3rd time, she said the hiring manager will determine that if they decide to move me along. Also no project information or client names were discussed since I would have to sign an NDA.

The call was just a few basic q’s, including what I look for in a manager.
