Buy in November. I saved 30%ish. First everything is discounted and usually there are deals for buying 2+ appliances at once. I bought 4(w/d, fridge, range) and got dishwasher and microwave for free. Too bad that's not for a while...
I forgot something else! When I bought my house I got a coupon in the mail- 10% off entire purchase up to like 5k in savings. It was a new home buyer coupon and it was awesome
I don't understand. Is this a riddle?
The best time to buy appliances is November/December or July. That's when companies rotate out models so you can easily get 20-50% off the old models. At this point I would hold out for a 4th of July sale if you can
Check out the open box deals at Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, etc. You can sometimes find some great deals on appliances. Bought an open box washer at Home Depot at a huge discount because there was a small dent in the bottom of it.
Ditto what BA1 said. I bought my stainless French door fridge at Sears outlet for $700 (regular price: $2500) because there were some cosmetic scratches/small dents on the front. Three fridge magnets later, I had a gorgeous brand new fridge.
Check to see if your firm has a 'preferred purchase program' for any of the big brands or a marketplace you may be able to find a deal at.
I bought last November during Thanksgiving. Deep sales + ebates cash back bonus + credit card cash back + energy efficienct appliance credit from utilities = significant savings
