Hi Cognizantians,
I have joined Cognizant on 19th. It was for service desk profile. Iam getting calls from project for voice support roles. Can anyone refer me to a project where there is requirement for Email support/Remote desktop support/Active directory support / Global access management /Microsoft Office support ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
I need your suggestion. I joined KPMG India 3 months back. Since then, I've worked on just one assigment, that too for around 20 days. I am looking for an internal switch now to Java Development. Can anyone suggest me, if it is possible?
If yes, how can I proceed for the same? Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

What is this 💩?

Espresso machine. It was romantic at first pulling those levers, grinding my beans, and frothing my perfectly tempered milk. No joke saved THOUSANDS (I used to go to Starbucks 1-3 times a day 🙃). Midway through lockdown I realized it’s a ton of work to make the perfect cappuccino and tapered to French (I still make a shot of espresso every now and then when I’m feeling like trouble). I’ve since managed to reduce my intake of liquid gold to like a few cups A WEEK so double points. ☕️

I use an iPad on a desktop stand as a speakerphone/videophone for conference calls. Already had the iPad so I suppose I just bought the $15 stand, but it’s great for this purpose. Join WebEx/Teams calls from the iPad and still have two screens to work or view the meeting materials - plus it’s a better angle for video and works well as a speakerphone.
Clever hack. Love the idea! 👍👍
Triple monitor setup.
I use three individual monitor arms I got off Amazon. I tried a three in one thing from Ergotron, but didn’t like it enough to justify the insane cost.

I’ve gone from wearing designer clothes & suits, to buying my tops at Target 🙄. They have upped their fashion game, tho.
Standing desk with under the desk treadmill. Walk 12-16 miles per day.
I am able to fully operate while walking on the treadmill. Since I’m an analyst, I mostly take notes during calls and my tasks aren’t super complex. (Updating decks, performing basic excel analysis and answering emails)
