If you use Teams, I'm pretty happy with the Jabra Evolve2 85. I've had it for two weeks and wear it 7-8 hours a day, no problem. Sound quality is pretty great (not quite Bose, but close). Try to catch it on a deal from Amazon if you can... I got it for like $260

like

wow cool, thanks. They certainly look fancy! :)

Also have Jabra headset. It’s great.

I have the jabra evolve 75, got them a week before COVID lockdown started for ~$180. They work great paired to the computer, I love pacing around the house while I’m on calls. I have a good range of probably 40 feet across my house before it starts cutting out. I pair them via Bluetooth, though they also come with a usb adapter. I used the adapter at first and found the adapter to have different performance depending on what other devices were plugged into the computer. Also, I upgraded the firmware on it. I was having issues staying connected to my iPhone 7, though I got the iPhone 12 Pro this year and it doesn’t have issues with that. I still have issues where since both the phone and computer are paired they will sometimes steal the connection from each other and I sometimes disable the Bluetooth on either the computer or the phone temporarily to avoid the conflict.

like

The battery lasts ~14 hours. I’m pretty good at remembering to charge it overnight or when I put it down. If I forget to charge, it just turns into a wired device.

I love the Jabra too but get self-conscious about the “teleoperator” look

funny

These days most of my bosses look like homeless yetis. A headset isn’t a negative.

Get some beats. Sound is great. Bluetooth works great with PC unlike AirPods, and the mic is built in so there is no mic boom.

I use the Bose 700s for calls and even when I'm not on calls for noise cancellation. Works great on calls and has 17/18 hours battery life and good range. Super comfortable and never have any sore ears/head from wearing them all day.

like

I use airpods, light on the ears and good for long use.

This is new to me, I haven't heard any feedback but will check in with the team.

like

I hate wearing headphones for calls and constantly having to worry about charge. So I got a jabra speaker with mic. Works way better than headphones like bose qc, seinheisers and other headphones

Getting sick of selling the market, watching it go my way, and then roaring back. So, I went back to revisit the daily. Could we be trading an extension long? Is that the reason why this market is going up? In Mid-June, we sold off to 2394 in ES. We can back for a 2nd test in early July but, rallied and we have rallied ever since. 3375 is the objective, 125 points away, and right at old highs. Do we have to goto old highs before a sell off? Maybe? Buy the 21 (yellow) and 51

The burnout is real. I’ve been a nurse for almost 10 years. Two of the which were in sales. I am likely going back to medical sales. If you’re wondering how you can do that, your first step to leverage your clinical knowledge would be to look for “clinical sales specialist” or similar jobs. Device companies are always looking for nurses but keep in mind you will be traveling a fair amount to get experience and then move to a true sales position (if that’s what you want).

Should I be as irritated as I am about this? My small agency is old fashioned. For instance, we only worked remote for the 3 mandated months in 2020. I developed a sore throat yesterday so I thought I should work remote today, to not spread anything contagious. I asked if I could work from home. Boss says: "You're right about not being too careful. I might have to have you take a sick day instead of working though, just because I need to be careful about the precedent." Seriously?
