Depends on what you do. I have 2 27”monitors so I can have one go vertical when I need it.
I’ve found the ultra wide to distort too much at the edges if it’s too big, but curved isn’t really any good under 32”.

I went with 2 big monitors
Pondered on this a lot and finalized the ultra wide monitor

4K monitor. I use a 43 in one mounted to the wall where my desk is. Game changer.

I found the ultra wide hard to use. I got a curved 27 monitor and love it
Two big ones. Easier to control window sizes.
I use 2 monitors and when I share my screen I only share what’s on my second monitor which is only what I want others to see. Not trying to be secretive, but this helps those times when an embarrassing message or email may pop up on the screen. What I have not researched is the ability to only share half of a wide screen monitor.
