Between a background in ERP consulting vs Amazon Operations management (Fulfillment), which one would have a better chance breaking into big tech strategy ops/ BizOps?

I’d say neither is great, tbh.
But I see Amazon Ops as better than ERP consulting.

Amazon Ops..

Yeah Amazon Ops would be good all around.

Thanks, that's definitely a good way to look at it!

Hahahah fool proof but I just can't justify that when there are consulting/ IB analysts landing this role after 2 years experience

As others noted neither are ideal, but I would say ERP Consulting. If anything, gives you a step closer to move into management consulting or another internal ops role and then transfer from one of those to bizops.

How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.

While I understand most people in deals/FDD aim to exit to industries like FP&A, Corpdev, and even IB/PE, I occasionally see people who end up exiting to accounting focused roles (eg controller, technical accounting, financial reporting), which I've also been reached out for by recruiters (Currently in Big4 FDD).
Is it a limiting move from a career/pay progression to take these exits? Any pros/cons? Thanks.

Is it crazy to consider a move in-house at the moment, given the market? Heading into my 4th year and now that I’ve received an interview request, I’m semi-panicking, thinking it may be safer to tough it out in big law for a little longer instead. FWIW, the opportunity is in-house at a well-funded startup and a decent sized legal team. If the state of the market wasn’t a consideration, there would be no question for me, but here we are…

Advice for Deloitte USI consultant ……If short term goal is to work for a few years in the US and then move back to India, what is the recommended approach-
1. MS/MBA in US and look for a Human Capital role (will need to spend $$ but will ensure higher designation and more options)
2. Stay at USI and wait for a project opportunity in US (lower probability of selection for H1B, move with same designation)

- Build yearly strategies/goals for the team (8)
- Performance management with bi-yearly reviews
- Holiday/timesheet approvals
- Bi-weekly 1:1s to help with career goals, general queries/issues and AOB
- Review and improve workflows/processes
- Lead by example when involved in project work (throughput/quality, keeping within budget, meeting deadlines etc.)

Sorry if this has already been asked by others, but I'm evaluating an Apple ICT4 offer and the recruiter mentioned yearly bonuses at 12% of base + $75K RSU (vesting in 4 years). The numbers look fine to me, but since these bonuses are based "on performance" what is the actual likelihood of receiving it in full?
