I don’t have a drivers license due to a medical condition. Thanks to COVID layoffs I’m back on the job hunt. I’ve never had an issue with reliable transportation in the 4 years I’ve been practicing between public transit, ride share apps and carpooling. Anyone have advice on contesting a hospital bill? My mom was one of the very rare few to have a bad reaction to the Pfizer shot (temperature spiked, passed out, etc…). She had to go to the hospital. My parents don’t have that much financial cushion and I’m early in my career - it’s like $2000 but that makes a big difference for them. She thought it would all be covered but they are saying because she didn’t actually have COVID, it won’t. This just feels absurd - she did what she was supposed to.
