Any public accountants from big 4 or even top 10 in the Tampa bay region? I’m curious if public is a little more laid back (specify audit, tax, consulting) than possibly big cities like LA, NYC, etc.

Is it possible to move to another B4 with 1 YOE but come in as a senior? Or atleast a higher level associate?

Does it make sense to make a lateral move from a Big 4 Advisory position as a Manager to a small (less than 100 person) boutique management consulting firm? Compensation and title are both the same but WLB will be much better at smaller firm (talked with current and former employees) and opportunities to advance in the company could be great as they are looking to grow rapidly. Base compensation overall is $170K in a T3 city. Recruiter wants to set up an interview.

I currently work as a senior analyst in FDD at a big 4 firm. I want to work for start ups and I was wondering what kind of roles would be suitable for someone with my skill set? My day to day typically involves analyzing trends in data, communicating with upper management / funds, market research. I’m drawn to start ups because I want to express my creative side. Are there roles that involve studying customers usage and understanding feedback?

Which big 4 would be better for M&A? I'm interested in eventually attempting a lateral transfer into investment banking. I know it's a long reach but want to have an option that doesn't involve getting an MBA.
