'MBB&' 😆
Hate to tell u this, but anyone who thinks this is a good idea is probably not a good MBB& material...
I'm gonna love it if MBB& catches on
Don't be too desperate. Just network and gain more experience, then try to make lateral move
Switched from manager at MBB& to associate at KPMG. No ragrets.
^ agree. Also, are you a manager at EY? I'm shocked.
He's kidding^
@op if you went to a top 10 Bschool, just network with with classmates. There might be openings at McK and BCG as they build their downstream teams / practices. But reality is that an advisory Mgr with 4 years of experience is no better than someone who had some consulting exp and went to b-school
From manager to associate?!
I don't think anyone will think mgr -> associate is a good idea. How? Why? It doesn't add up. How much less will you make when you level down at mbb?
I've seen posts on here on how a manager from big 4 took an associate role. He said he understood the difference once he started.
^ i rub your back, you refer me?
Notice the lack of comments from MBB in this thread.
Yeah if Chances r better. I know I'll work my way back up. Just want to get in to something more exciting
@Acn1: How can being a manager at big4 be less challenging than an associate at mbb? How?
Different problems / approach. Sure if you're smart you'll do well but how will they know
Stil. Vertically you have covered so much of work as a manager in certain tech/ process, etc. Now you get off that vertical and climb another one from the start? It's odd.
It's like just before you graduate from bschool you jump ship to get a law degree. Why?! I don't know. I would stay 10 feet away from this idea.
U left a manager position to SA???
Fuckin better be haha
