Should not practice law if you engage in unethical billing practices.
Right, I’m not trying to parrot the post. I am responding to the post by saying that people who engage in the outlined behavior should not practice law. Or maybe they should transition to a job that will not lead them to be unethical.
For example, having a bunch of client’s money under one’s control promotes embezzlement. If one starts embezzling, it’s a clear sign that one is headed in the wrong direction and should not engage in such a behavior/pursue something else if the temptation is too hard to resist.
