Eh the quality dropped considerably after x left but the last episode was absolute perfection.
The last few seasons were tough to watch. Seasons 1-5 are gold, particularly 2-4.

Recs for more shows like this? I also love veep but I’ve now finished it too ☹️
30 Rock is amazing.

The office would be deemed not PC enough if it was showing today.
Mel Brooks has said the same about his works. Blazing Saddles is still one of the best comedies ever made and such a brilliant, scathing critique of racism, but there is a 0% chance anyone could make something like it again. Dave Chappelle’s “Black White Supremacist” skit comes to mind too.

Favourite characters? I actually thought Robert California was hilarious. Reminds me of some partners.
M2, Actually....
They should name the reboot “Woke Office” just to show how insufferable it is working with people like that.
What’s everyone’s favorite cold open? Hands down Kevin’s chili for me, although “save bandit” “Asian Jim” and “kgb knock knock” still get me every time too.
The original or what the yanks watch?
@attorney1 LOL
Is it only me or did anyone else also dislike Pam? Especially towards the later seasons?
Her character became oddly selfish towards the end. A lot of characters changed for the worse though. I think the creative focus shifted to Parks and Rec and the Office suffered quite a bit.
Parks and Rec was pretty consistent throughout in comparison. Maybe never reached the heights of the Office at its peak, but after a shaky first season was high quality throughout.
There are great comedies still being made not sure what you mean by they don’t make things like it anymore. Community, Silicon Valley, the good place all are wrapped now but all started well after the office
Not the same. Still good, but it’s a different level.
