Help! Have a 2-day jury trial coming up in two weeks. Judge has mandated masks. I tried a cloth one out at a pretrial hearing and I was so muffled as the mask touched my mouth frequently. Jury trial is being held in a large open space so vocal projection will crucial. What masks have you purchased that offer protection but don’t fit too snug to the mouth and allow for good volume? Am I best off with disposable surgical masks?

Just saw a posting for a contractor position. It's a data analyst position asking for 5 YOE. Anyone have insight into what to expect in this type of role (I.e. total comp, benefits, etc.).

Am I crazy? I had 7 years of strategy consulting (Monitor Deloitte) in my home country. Immigrated to new country 3 years ago. Started with grad school. Took a “tech strategy” job at ACN in the new country after school (At ACN, tech strat has same pay band with biz strat). Now, everywhere I’m interviewing, people keep saying i’m not an ‘actual’ strategist. Like, wtf? Tech strat is only a very small fraction of my career. How do I tell my story so that people don’t discount my foreign experience?
