Brown
Either do not work in any circumstances — if you want to be taken seriously / are in a formal setting then it’s definitely black, if you are going for a more casual look then a dark brown is OK

From a fashion standpoint either is acceptable. Black hails from London and is an older style...in the states it’s more common to wear brown. Again, both are acceptable.

I think the vast majority of us are going to say brown (with a close enough matching brown leather belt), but to those who would say black I’d like to know why.
