I have a 95 year old looking for help with $800,000 sitting in the bank. It will all be left to legacy (2 children). She’s too old for annuities and life insurance. Only option (for me s6&63) is mutual funds really. She is opening a trust as well rn. What would you recommend she do? Invest in MFs? Go risky as she’ll be giving it away anyways? Should she transfer the 800k to the trust?
