First time founder hoping to get som feedback from the startup community. I launched an angel investment network trying to fill the need for a purely introductory based network vs a variable fee/crowdfunding. The goal or this project is to maximize the number of introductions. I just redid our investor signup page and would be very grateful for any sign ups and feedback. It’s completely free and should only take about 30 seconds.

Have you all seen the LinkedIn meme generator yet? Now we can all attain cringefluencer status in seconds. (I didn’t have the courage to actually post mine on LinkedIn because I didn’t want my coworkers to see but sharing it here - the meme generator even allows you to set your cringe volume https://lnkd.in/gj6zEKC4

Also side note - for everyone saying “this doesn’t belong on LinkedIn”. Why the F not?
We work at home. Our professional and personal lives are inherently and intrinsically intertwined. Laws about our bodies and our quality of life and the right to unionize or not (for example) are being legislated and discussed frequently.
Racism, sexism, ageism, classism are very real experiences that people face in the workplace- so talking about those experiences on a platform made for job seeking, and professional networking makes total sense to me.
The people who say “this isn’t appropriate for LinkedIn” are probably people who would like women to smile more and “calm down” generally.
Also, if you don’t like it- scroll on by. Problem solved.
Some people just don’t get it.
Good for you?
Liberal here that supports the advancement of LGBTQ issues/people but can’t stand her approach.
Her posts aggressively try to stoke division for engagement while using her race/disability/sexual identity as a shield to deflect criticism.

Also, why post these kinds of messages on LinkedIn?
I don’t mind her. She speaks the truth. Could def use some editing though.
Also played out: “that’s the post”, “that’s the tea”, “plot twist”, and “it’s the blah blah for me”.
When people use these phrases it feels like Martha Stewart saying “for shiz” 10 years later.
She’s Black, so her using these phrases feels “more authentic” than some random white lady, but still. Bleh.
Visual Storyteller
Oh stop. Posts like this just do one thing - serve the ego of the poster. You want to to post clapbacks to your legions of imagined haters then do it on Twitter where that juvenile BS is the norm.
OP, maybe remember to crop out your own profile photo on the top left before throwing some shade.
His face + he’s from PwC. Let’s find him. 🤣
Normalize not cringe posting in linkedin lol
Why do people write such long posts
My attention span can’t take posts more than 3 lines

She’s not wrong though?
The comparison with Trump/Ted Cruz is apt.
Like with the Dan Price post, the criticism here seems to be motivated by politics rather than the substantive content.
Lol Dan Price… can you imagine doing something 10 years ago that you still post about every two weeks?
Tc1 is more cringe than the poster in the OPs post…
I think it’s either being super spoiled or mental issues. Look at all those replies….
Also I know her and she gets death threats and horrific messages pretty much daily with white men and some white women calling her awful names and sending N-word laden messages. She’s mad. She’s correct. And at least it’s not aspirational hustle harder Gary Vee nonsense.
Ya the people who are issuing her death threats are the worst people in the world. Doesn't change her message being cringe and she is just being a content creator in Linkedin

This is such a liability though if I go through the interview process and decide to not go with her. She may decide to file a claim because I found her LinkedIn and discriminated against her. This is just poor judgement that doesn’t belong on LinkedIn.
Why are we all so angry?
The projection from this "unicorn"
Honestly. The only thing cringe here is that it's on LinkedIn...but I don't see the issue with what she said. What's the problem besides being on linkedIn?
In my opinion that was the only thing wrong.
