I’ve realized that all of my male friends that make $400,000 or more annually without debt have qualities that are almost antithetical to what I think many Black women are looking for. They’re engineers, scientists, and physicians. Toddler parents - my son just turned 3 yr old. He started daycare when he was 1.5 yr old but went for few days and we pulled him out due to Covid. We have started sending him to Daycare since last month and realized he hardly speaks at daycare. Moreover, he looks through the corner of his eyes almost all the time at school. I’m trying to decide between two offers by the end of this week and am having a lot of trouble making a decision. One is with Guidehouse, $122K base, senior consultant title, not sure on the bonus, and it’s focused on sustainability strategy and product management. The other is with Kearney, $110 base + 20-25% bonus in the digital transformation practice. I really want to specialize my career on sustainability and tech, but I also know working at Kearney could be life changing in the long run.

For UK folks in JPM, I have an been headhunted for an ED lead architect role at JPM. I've asked for a desired base salary of £130k.
