Hand sanitizer at the airport 😂 That's bold !

Never take cash out on a corporate card. You have to be much more strategic

Did you ask the question, so you could reply with an attempt at a funny "bold" expense?

A coworker at my old company got fired for taking cash out on his corporate card to pay for a hooker. He claimed he was robbed, but they got the atm video.

Ill cover for him, just giving you shit. Anyway, this is a tough one. Idk, probably expensing an upgrade to economy plus. Also random stuff like hand sanitizer at the airport.

Well damn, PWC, it sounds so fun over there

Read your firm policy often times you can upgrade to economy plus if flight is over certain hours. And hand sanitizer?? Come on. That's ridiculous. Your buying it so you don't get sick so you can work more. Step your game up. I upgrade to first. Personal drivers. Personal dinners. Follow your director and partner.

That was CPG though - you can get away with a lot more in consulting.

😔

What have people heard of others getting away with?

Chicago 2, what was your director arrested for?

Well played haha

Wild guess - did it begin with an h and end with an ooker?

Roth or Trad 401K?
$210K in yearly household income + 10% bonus (just wife and I, both 32y.o.).
Take home pay is about $140K - includes 401K contributions and health benefits.

Can't decide if Roth makes sense as I don't anticipate our retirement income will exceed current spending levels. I get the appeal of tax free withdrawals but at the expense of paying more up front. Any advice?

Remember when we were told all of our benefits would transfer? I noticed my student loan benefit ceased and I didn’t have any info from Vialto about it transitioning. When I contacted them, they said they do not have an active student loan pay down program and that one will be active on 7/1. They will not reimburse the 2 months of no benefit and there is nothing they can do about it. This is my first Vialto road block so far. Not happy about being forced to transfer to have my benefits effected.

Hello! I recently got my first UX position. While I will eventually be able to do some research, I was hoping to eventually move to a team that is fully focused on User Research. I’ve been told that I should really get a Master’s (my company will reimburse me). I was wondering if there are any respectable online Universities that are relatively easy to get into, or if I should be looking outside my company in a year or so.

Thanks in advance!

Managers - do you pay for your direct reports’ lunch if you go as a group to pick something up from a takeaway lunch counter (eg Sweetgreen, Pret)? What about impromptu after-work drinks?

I manage a team of young talent who don’t earn that much, and I obviously cover and expense the bill when it’s an official team dinner or event, but what’s the protocol for casual stuff? I wouldn’t be able to expense impromptu, casual things like this, so it would be my own money.
