BCG final round interview in a week. Any tips on what to expect in a partner level conversation?
- how is it different than the round 1 experience?
- how important is the casing component? I'm doing pretty well, but not perfect. Friends have been eating me 8/10, with the need to improve structure and be more top down in my communication. I'm wondering what I can do to improve that in a week and if that will be a deal breaker on interview day?

I’m sorry this happened! I’ve overlooked some things in interviews when I felt someone had potential. But even if you did totally bomb it, you are in the thick of it - the lowest point in terms of the shame and embarrassment. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and it will be behind you before you know it.
I thought I bombed an interview for my dream job and ended up with an offer, so keep hope alive!
I feel for you OP! Keep trying and know that you’ll land your dream role soon
True OP!! Had the same sinking feeling about two years ago when I didn’t land a dream role. Stayed at my current firm and weirdly I did all the things I dreamt of in my current role. Maybe there’s something better there! Plus you don’t know how they perceived you. We always think the worst of ourselves 😑

Don’t be too harsh on yourself please… nerves are taken into account when measuring interview performance.

What’s for you, will be for you. Don’t count yourself out until you know for sure. If there are 1-2 specific things you’d like to correct from the interview, then you may be able to do so in a follow-up thank you email.
Hey i landed my “dream” job even though I thought I bombed, but all the ones I thought I crushed, I didn’t. Chin up!!
Don’t think too much about it. You might not even have done bad. Just wait for the feedback from the company.
The interviewer asked me to take a deep breath and work through it. My nervousness was pretty visible I think 😫
