So to set expectations: compensation in Accenture is lower than all other Big4.
But on the flip side:
1. Getting into Accenture is much easier.
2. Technology related projects are actually pretty interesting (at least in the Industry X.0 practice)
3. WLB is not too bad. Travel is hard but, no one bothers me in the weekends.
4. You can also spend 2-3 months on the bench without any real impact on performance reviews (not consecutive, but a few weeks here and there). Which is great to recharge.
Been 5 years with Accenture and don't feel like I had insane stressful time here making it to Sr. Manager... (except for a couple of nightmare projects, but even those ended eventually)
Hold on... I’ve spent weeks on bench with no performance issue, don’t get bothered on weekends, and executing pretty interesting tech work. I think it’s all relative and YMMV
You’ve only been there 3 months. Be grateful you got anything at all!!!
Stop making me laugh at this. 😂
Thanks for making me feel better about my raise and bonus!
you do realize performance cycle ends in July right? So new analysts starting in the summer basically dont get a review until the next mid-year or EOY cycle
What was your signing bonus? And what group are you in?
You got a tip
My ‘tip’ on my first year ( I started way late in the year) was $40K lol
it’s prorated...
You joined in late July while most performance review happened sometime in August. That raise/bonus sounds just about right for someone who worked for a couple weeks 🤷🏻♂️
I believe HR is referring to the raise and bonus if you stay for a full year. But again, it all depends on how your practice is doing (along with your individual performance ofc).
I got a zero dollar raise. You beat me by $500 and I was here all year. Everything’s relative. Shrug it off and move on.
Move on is right. You are making less this year than last.
Started in July as well got 0% raise and $0 bonus. Aren’t you the lucky one
You Accenture peeps are putting things into perspective for me. I was mad when I got snubbed with a 6.5% bonus with 10% raise one year
It's prorated. Year end at Accenture is enf of August. OP was also recruited after performance reviews already took place
If it isn’t in writing it will never happen
The recruiter lied to you! Likely just to get there bonus...

I’m trying to understand why you think you’d ever get a raise or bonus starting late July when our fiscal year ends in August. 🤔🤔 Also I believe it’s written into the contract you signed not to anticipate a pay increase until XXX date.
At least you get the fat per diem money $$$$
I started in June of my first year and got nothing. Enjoy the couple hundred bucks buy something you don’t need.
Your recruiter mislead you...or you misunderstood the performance cycle (which ends in July!) So can you honestly say you deserve to be rewarded for 1-2 weeks of work (if you were even staffed)?
Yeah I’m not mad at all because I knew I wasn’t even staffed immediately but the recruiter could have been a bit more transparent his tactic just sounded to good to be true especially after I negotiated my base an extra 13K
Started early June, and I got 0% raise and $650 bonus. Don’t feel bad.
Started late July. Got a $0 raise and $238 bonus my first performance cycle
I got a $90 bonus after tax my first year with excellent ratings at ACN. It's all bull. I left before I found out my promotion package but knew I was getting one. My coworker who was unstaffed for 5 months that year got a $1000 bonus compared to my 100%
Oh the lies the recruiters say.....

I started in very late June and got a 1.5K bonus and a 2% raise
What level are you?
