Book recommendations: Hi 🐠, can you all recommend a few books that can help me learn a little about the following topics?

- How to go about ideating a new line of service or product? (Understanding market needs and viability of the product, designing/scoping the product, etc)
- How to define a business case for funding an idea?
- How to launch a product and/or a startup?

Starting a Strategy role and would like to use the down time to prepare. Open to other books on strategy concepts as well :)

Any downsides to leaving a “Counsel” role and moving into a “Legal Affairs” role? Still practicing and representing the company, just a difference of titles, so core work remains the same - what do you think?

Hi fishes, how is mulesoft technical consultant-customer success role in Salesforce for 10 YOE?

Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?

When I moved in-house a year ago as a BigLaw mid-level, I took a 45% pay cut, far more than I was comfortable with (although I was fine with a 20-30% cut). I took the job because it was a great role and I was focused on making the jump in house and developing the skills I wanted, which required me moving away from my firm practice area. Now that my year-end review is coming up, how do I ask my company for a significant pay raise (not just a 2-5% inflation-matching raise)?

I am currently in ID and wanting a miracle in-house position. I recently learned that the VP of Lit for an ins. carrier was promoted leaving her position open. I’m unsure if they’re planning to fill that vacant role. I’d like to approach her about my general interest of going in house (asking her how she did it herself) and mention my interest with her company. I know this is a sensitive topic as she gives me cases. I have a great professional and personal rapport with her. Any tips?
