Need a lot more detail to give you an accurate answer (aerospace and analytics are not accounts nor are they job types, they’re vague references to what could be many different job families). But my guesstimate would be $145k without a clearance, $170k w/TS FSP, +/— $20k. Salary is the full TC at Booz Allen- there are no bonuses or stock awards for anyone LA and down unless you’re in the commercial side of the house or hired into one of the really hard to fill job families. Perks are the benefits described in the benefits guide HR gives you no more no less. Benefits are very middle of the road: 20 days PTO/year, no separate bank for sick or personal leave. 11 paid holidays. Health insurance that is just “fine.”
Thank you BAH1, I really appreciate your candor and opinions on this. This would be a "retirement" gig to be honest. Ill be a traditional guardsmen but can retire and start collecting a retirement pretty quickly if needed.
I haven't done this in industry but it was one of my "duties" for the government. I've managed to help secure funding for several dozen seedlings, SBIRS, IMAD, etc and have been involved in other modernization projects for the combat air force. That was as an extra duty where it was mainly done in my downtime, not as a primary role. I like the thought of working some of the niche problem sets that BAH is on contract for (DCGS-OA, Fight Tonight, Resolute Sentry, et al.) but I see these as barely scratching the surface of what needs to be done.
I know they plan to transition me to a billable role, but from the sounds of it that was a ways away, likely a couple/few years. I also have a bit of project management experience as well so that may be where I transition once my current skills and connections become obsolete.
I appreciate your responses and your opinions. Thank you
