Hey everyone! I need some advice. I’ve accepted an offer for a new job, but I’m in a bit of a rush to get out of the position I’m working right now. I start the new job July 18. My job now doesn’t care about their employees, and it’s a health risk for my family and I due to unsafe COVID policies (i.e. forcing you to come in even if you’re sick, making you use PTO for COVID even if working from home, etc). Is there anything short term I can do until July? Or should I stay until then?

Life is never fair: some of us considered promotions as such an important milestone in our life and busts our ass for it, and they don’t get it due to COVID. Others don’t even care about their job and don’t care about their manager’s feedback and still got to stay in the company.

What is a good way to convey that you want the job but don’t like the location? I gave it a lot of thought but can’t seem to convince myself to make the move.
