Lately I feel like my husband and I are the worst parents in the world. Our kids are 2 and 6 and we have an older dog and a puppy. There is ALWAYS someone whining, crying, needing something. My husband and I get mad and yell at the kids so much lately. It seems like at least one of us is overwhelmed and angry every second of the day. I look at our lives and they look perfect. Good jobs, nice house in a dream neighborhood, everyone is healthy. Other parents do not seem as stressed as us.

Daycare vs Nanny - I’ve got a 5 yr old and a 1 year old. I did full time daycare throughout the pandemic with my oldest and had no issues. Recently it feels like it has become more stressful. It seems like I have to get my youngest tested for covid every other week. Would a nanny make things easier or just create another set of problems?!

For those that are still on mat leave- what time do you start and end your day? I want to try and fit in working out, but I’m so tired all the time… also, if you have a toddler at home- are you breaking up the day so there are specific times for specific activities? Has any mom here been expected to work 8 hours straight a day even with kids at home? Hey mamas... health question.
I was just diagnosed with Hashimotos disease (I’ve had hypothyroidism for two decades so not a surprise) and it’s very treatable but I’m really struggling with the arthritic flare ups that started months ago.
I’m 45, have a toddler and have always eaten very healthy and been incredibly active.
Do any of you have tips or resources you could share for improving diet and lifestyle? Want to do everything I can to keep the flare ups at bay.

How much time do you spend with your kids on average in a day? I would say I get about 2 full hours a day during the workweek with my toddler (I try to be as present as possible) but have major mom guilt.

Need some advice- I’m 8 weeks pregnant and a step mom to a 3 and 5 year old. For the youngest’s 4th birthday her mom is throwing her a large party at Scramble (indoor play gym) with 20 other kids and her side of the family. We have been extra cautious because of Covid and pregnancy AND are all vaccinated and boosted, but with the kids being in two households we have no control over what she does with the kids and what she exposes them to. I feel like I’ve been mislead my while life. Realized after we started trying to conceive that pregnancy is actually only 8 months. It isn’t until “week 3 or 4” that you even know you’re pregnant! I have always assumed it was 9 months from the time of your positive pregnancy test 🙈 am I the only one??
