Bored out of my mind at work. I’ve asked for more responsibilities but there isn’t much to do on the account itself. Im essentially being paid (industry standard) to do nothing. The account is a big name, internal team is friendly, client annoying but manageable as any other. Sounds ideal on paper, but I feel restless and like my brain/skills are stagnating. Any advice, or am I complaining about nothing?

I usually join a meeting saying "hey guys".. I've always done this.. the other day someone in the call pointed out that not everyone in the meeting were male.. I was slightly taken aback . I use the term 'guys' in a completely gender neutral sense and thought that was the norm.. am I totally in the wrong here?
