Don’t worry. It is not used to filter any candidate out based on their results.

Also wouldn’t over index on it. Not most important or major factor. I believe there’s still a disconnect in the data on applicants & data on job performance (I.e., people we perceive as “scoring well” doing better on job than people we perceive as “not scoring as well”)

What about a willingness to take risks would be negative?! That’s almost certainly a good quality, demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset, non risk-aversion, courageousness

Thanks ZS1. I hope so, just was reading the articles that risk aversion is preferred so as to not alienate clients. But yah agreed with you there needs to be some risk takers on teams

Looking for respectful ways to manage helping people in need of a job or seeking mentorship. I get 3-4 requests a week from mutual contacts asking if I can connect with a former colleague (always broad). Typically the ask is a 30-45 min call. I’ve been laid off, I know how hard a time it is, but equally am working long hours, parenting and want to reserve time for those I know. How do others manage these extra calls into their weeks?

Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). I love the position and what it entails, but was hoping to reach $150-$160 base salary. If offered the position, is this a reasonable ask? This is for big pharma, data analytics in New England.
