Agree with P1- they prob know something that you don't
I don't think it's too early. This might only be anecdotal but I knew a PPED level, SM level, and analyst/associate level all were at the same firm, all jumped to Booz together over few months period and in the same pyramid. Really helped the analyst who was promoted pretty quickly and got a lot of institutional support for some of his ideas
leave with them if possible. I made the mistake once. all of my mentors and leaders left within a 6 month timeframe and my dumbass stayed behind. got my ass kicked around that firm until I had to leave. never again.
Something similar happened to me elsewhere and I was eventually laid off. Look out for yourself
Find new mentors
If you are still a first year, find new mentors.
You are young and junior; find new mentors. Network among your peers, find out who is a great coach, who is an attentive RP, and try to work things out. I might advise you differently if, say, you were an experienced hire and the people who brought you in just left, but you have flexibility, years ahead of you, and work for an excellent firm (from what I hear, lol).
In which practice are you? Happy to coach you if there happens to be a fit. I don't have a burner, but can create one. I am an experienced Director.
In which practice are you?
One went to industry, another to a competitor. I would jump over if I could (but I'm still in my first year as a campus hire).
Ha glad that my shitty experience could help someone else
My RP just left for the industry. OP, we should talk
P2, here's my burner email let's get in touch Fishbowl@maildrop.cc
@D1 is on point. When all of your mentors go, you'll probably be forced out next.
Cool, wrapping up a deliverable. Will email you shortly
I still mentor people at my previous firms...so continue reaching out if they are comfortable
I may know who you r Op😀.
☺️ perhaps so, P5. Discretion is the better part of valor, but I suspect that it was you who got me into this mess, lol
🤔 Your secret is safe with me.
Thanks P4, I'm in FS and would be appreciative of any guidance (fishbowl@maildrop.cc)
