You’ll spend way more pursuing a lawsuit than just fixing the issue
That's what I figured. Now I need to figure out how to fix this and what it'll cost.
You supposed to discover this when you go through inspection. I don’t think it is ground for lawsuit unless you have a contract from previous owner testify nothing wrong with the windows.
However check with your lawyer.
Don’t most places still do a seller’s disclosure? It should have been reported there.
I don’t think it’s grounds for a lawsuit. A lesson learned. I pay for a really great inspector, next time make sure they complete a flir thermal imaging.
How do you narrow down the world of inspectors to the most competent and using latest tech gadgets? Most are a waste of $. Yelp/Google reviews don't reveal much
