Has anyone ever been denied boarding because of inverted first and last name on the booking? First as last, last as first.
Airline wants me to cancel and rebook at $1500 loss 😥 but everywhere I look people claim to have gotten through without issues.
If you’re happy at your agency and you know it, pls comment below with your agency name. Seriously wondering if the whole industry is shit
Hiya! I was wondering if anyone here has any good recommendations in terms of books or learning material that I can pick up to learn about sales and marketing relevant to the consulting industry?
How do you balance wanting to sell higher-priced properties with the thought of them not selling because of how much they’re worth?
How's LiteCoin (LTC) looking fish fam? Hws the future? Holding a few for the last 3 years.. shd I get out?
AA flight got cancelled for no reason. The next flight they could do was next day. Is there any points I could get out of this? It wasn’t weather related bc everyone else on my team flew out.
Anyone have strong recommendations for getting smart on AI and machine learning? Interested in ramping up but not sure where to start
Leaving this here without comment 😂
Late 20s female looking for advice on getting in shape over the course of about 1 year. For context, I’m not in horrible shape or overweight, but overall am not that happy with my body and can stand to lose 5-10 pounds and tone up overall. My eating is relatively healthy but I tend to struggle on weekends with treating myself to cocktails and pizza. I enjoy working out but can’t find the discipline to make it a routine. (Continued)
Partners, senior associates - why do you phrase things as “what about this? Why havent we done this?” Isnt it obviously bc nobody thought about it? Why not just direct and guide your team to do something as opposed to ask that awkward question and make the team scramble to pretend like it’s in process
How do you console or help someone who's father is on a death bed? What can you even do?
My gf's father probably won't make it pass tomorrow and I don't even know what to do or say.
I was recently promoted from Senior to Supervising Senior and received a 42% pay increase bringing me to $105k. I have roughly 10 years of experience, 5.5 of those years in the Big 4. The reason I am still at the Senior level is because I took a break from IT Audit from 2018-2021, with this considered I still feel like $105k is low for my level of experience, based on a lot of the compensation comments in this bowl. My locale is Austin, TX so also a high cost of living. Any thoughts?
Any good movie / netflix show recommendations?
Where would you say the line would be for going advisory @ big 4 to an investment bank? Obviously depends on the firm but would you say you wouldn’t go to a firm under a certain size? I.e. I would love to hear your thoughts on if I should go from b4 to a boutique with ~15 people?
Who here moved from a large enterprise to a medium sized business? I just got presented with a compelling offer. I’m excited for less politics, but might be dealing with more ambiguity. Would love to hear anecdotes. Thanks
I’ve been with my organization a little over a year and we’ve had major transitions and turnover that took me from starting as a recruiter coordinator to a hr generalist, and now an interim hr manager. I have a masters degree in industrial organizational psychology and while I am new to HR have professional work experience in other fields-military, teacher, training specialist. I love what I do. Should I apply for the hr manager position with only a year of hr work history? Do I have a chance?
Got through and selected for the EY GDS risk assurance team. They are offering me SC level 2. Please throw some light on EY GDS hierarchy and also how much CTC i should be asking from HR in negotiation.

Need to get stylish blue-light glasses.
I know Warby and Felix Gray are trendy - I love their clear frames. But has anyone tried “Barner Brand”? I like their metal frames and it ~feels like that’s the new hot style

What’s your favorite cologne for work?
Female working in IBD here. All the junior women are super trendy (wide leg trousers, chunky loafers and heavy sweaters) and all the senior women are super formal (high heels, tight colored dresses, try Googling “corporate women’s wear”).
I am a young mid-level person making my way up and want to vamp up my wardrobe but need serious outfit inspiration to be senior and client presentable enough but not so stiff.

Best going out shirts for 23M? Ideally looking for collard shirts that are less formal than dress shirts
I need some 4-way stretch pants (formal). I've tried Lulu's ABC, and while adequately comfortable, their price tag seems a bit steep for a pair of chinos. Anybody know of good alternatives? Thanks!
Thinking of AE Strands in walnut. Would these go well with jeans in a non-tech casual work environment (e.g. jeans, button down, sweater)?
