Personally I think I had more growth at smaller firms.

The concept of a busy season has evolved.. for the most part, I believe it was always a 2-3 month period. I've worked more than half of the weekends in the past 52 week period. It's BS
M&A activity is about to get real in our industry so you run the risk of leaving for a firm just to be acquired by another firm. Also raises stand to be significantly better in larger firms for the next few years. I can’t be completely confident in the next few years but I think it’s a safer bet to stay at the big firms.
Don’t leave now. Smaller firms will lay off quicker than Big 4.
Baker Tilly, then why is it only the smaller firms currently laying off. None of the big 4 firms have had mass layoffs yet. But lots and lots of National and small firms have.
Think of why you want to leave Pwc, and ask around if this particular boutique firm won’t have the same issues. You don’t want to be jumping from boiling oil to direct fire.
Your going to leave PwC. Just a matter of when. It is the best move I made.
If they're hiring now they're probably a pretty stable/strong firm and they can weather any storm,or it is a terrible place to work. One of the two.
