How are case interviews scored at MBB?
As a young undergraduate from a tier 1 college, how do I break into in the strategy consulting arms of big 4 or MBB. I am keen to work in the front end office rather than the capability centers. Experienced colleagues it would great if you could share an insight about this. McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company EY-Parthenon Bain & Company

EY1, I haven’t found Mckinsey to be competitive
Boutique is last unless you have a well established resume already and are looking for money. Most future employers wont know if you were legit or not. MMB is generally the best but very hard work and competitive. Big 4 is good and more safe.
Plenty of options in between boutique and MBB that aren't Big 4....some much better than most of the B4
Agree with McK1. People at Bain are very driven but it’s more a self-driven environment rather than someone pushing you. Organization is not competitive or cutthroat - the distinction between that and being driven is important. Very collaborative, transparent culture. “A Bainie never lets another Bainie fail” 😊 SC1, are you actively deciding among the three? A narrower question would be more helpful - i.e., what are you looking to decide through the responses you’ll get here?
Has anyone worked at a combination of the three, and have a preference? If so what and why?
