Chico State > M7
Honestly? As someone who got into several m7 scold and will be attending one this fall, at the M7 level no one truly cares once you get in. Are Harvard and Stanford incredible? Yes. But once you get in you realize there are a lot of other factors that go into a decision (scholarship, location, long term goals, significant others etc.) so it doesn’t really matter (except for maybe Harvard and Stanford) once you get in. Plus once it’s this competitive a lot of decisions are kinda random. I got into CBS and waitlisted at Wharton and I’ve met people in the opposite situations. Just apply to the schools you want to go to, see where you get in and then make your decision. My perspective changed A LOT once I got in and thought about where I could spend 2 years and the kind of people I wanted in my network
Nope not going there bc of scholarship money, not sure I want to end up in nyc, I’m also not interested in finance if that helps. I wouldn’t make decisions based on what you read on blogs etc at this point. You cannot go wrong between booth and cbs just think about where you’d be most happy and which fellow admitted students you liked, scholarships, the environment you’d thrive most in etc. Congrats btw!
An alternate view: HS > WB > KCS
Agreed w above...
T1A - HS
T1B - WB
T1C - KCS
It’s all splitting hairs though. Going to any m7 won’t close many doors for you.
