Looking to end lease early. As a landlord I’ve allowed tenants to do it bc it was easier than going to court. Now, I want to do it as a tenant.
I want to give 60 day notice and terminate lease at end of Feb vs letting lease end in April.

Current lease has a $1K administrative fee for early termination. Landlord is small and independent aka it’s a couple renting an old property.

My previous manager would track us by hours daily, made a fuss everytime anything stretched and guilt us for that and the unplanned leave too unless it was COVID. Hinted him a lot of time, this is problematic but apparently he considered it "standard practice for agile".

Now 8/10 teammates have switched within < 1 year of project start (6-7 months with him) which tbh had good work in our opinion and even team was fun to work with even though none of us ever met in person.

I am in the process of negotiating an offer with a new company and I asked for a higher base but they came in saying i would be “at parity” with my peers. They did try to adjust the bonus so TC would be close to what I am looking for. However, the signon bonus is a bit lower than what I was hoping. How do you negotiate that and what do I say? Truth is, I am still a bit on the fence about the move. I really like my boss and my team and we have so many amazing (TBC below)
