Battery is totally 100% worth it.
Thank you all for the suggestions. The S1 it is.
Haha I know what you are saying! I only have experience with the S1 and the battery is worth it. Check your health insurance - mine was covered.
Yes it is so worth it to be portable/not plugged into a wall!
So worth it to not be tied to an outlet. Vastly increases options of comfortable places to pump.
So worth it!
Agree with others. It’s totally worth it. I am using it right now for my 7 weeks old baby and I exclusively pump. Even little things like the freedom to get up and check on her in her crib when she cries while pumping makes it so worth it

Get that battery, girl. When I realized I could wash dishes while pumping, I felt so free. Made for a strange incident with the housekeeper one morning, but we had a good laugh.

Totally agree - hands free pumping bra. I just bought one from amazon (Simple Wishes sounds right), and that’s also a game changer. Make sure it’s a dedicated pumping bra with lots of support/cling to help hold the flanges in place. I initially cut holes in an old sports bra, thinking my bigger boobs would be enough to really hold them in. Nope. My lactation consult immediately, professionally said it’s worth the money for a dedicated bra. I’m just thrilled she didn’t laugh in my face when I whipped out that old stained thing in her office!
It is worth it. I ended up exclusively pumping and needed the flexibility.
S1 was so worth it.
Also, highly recommend pairing it with the Freemie cups! Allows you to not have to get into a pumping bra and can keep your shirt on and not have a couple of flanges and bottles hanging off you.
Just a counter point. I love my s1 but I largely used the battery for travel / work as I rarely pumped at home. In covid times I don’t know that I would pay the upgrade.
