I’ve done $2,000 bar bills before ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Only $400 and you're sweating?? Don't.

That’s only $26 a person. That’s nothing

Started out at like 8 people, and ended up with maybe 3 of us 😂 the partner wanted a round of jaeger so it was totally his fault

likefunny

If a partner was present at any time you have nothing to worry about

like

Oh yeah OP if the partner was there he will definitely sign off

like

Pwc1 is referring to his $2k bill. I was asking OP but wow ! That’s a big bill for 15 people!

funny

That makes me feel so much better! We’re a fairly small office, so not sure what a normal amount is for us!

Just get the partner to sign off on it. Nbd the budgets are bigger than you think

How many people total though?

That one was about 15 people. Given the QRP was there and he’s a known partier

Partner liked ordering some...eclectic beverages and bottles of wine that cost a decent percentage of my paycheck

yeah it’s not uncommon for me to sign $200-$300 lunch bills daily

Hey I have an ASC840 accounting question on this scenario - a target sold an asset 10 years ago for 10,000,000 and immediately leased it back. They recorded a deferred gain of $1M and amortized it over the term of the lease (still going) and letting that gain every month reduce the rent expense. Since this deal is cash free debt free shouldn’t we treat this as a debt like item? They received the cash in a prior period but we are now stuck with the payments. Debating how to quantify the adjstmnt

I am afraid this might be like $1000 expense for us that is just unplanned.

Grant Thornton Tax manager or KPMG Specialist 2? I got a few offers recently, and now have to make a decision between Grant Thornton Tax manager or KPMG Specialist 2. GT has higher salary and position, while KP's people are really nice and professional during the interview, besides it's hard for me to say no to a Big 4 opportunity. GT is focusing on enterprise and high net worth taxes, while KP is focusing on energy mining industry tax and tax provisions. Hard to make decision!
