I finished my Amazon loop interview and received a good feedback from the recruiter. A few days later, she called asking about a possible start date and location, and requested me to send a copy of my ID. She told me the result will come out in two days and exactly two days later, she told me the result is delayed and to wait a few more days. I can't help but feel like I didn't get the job. How to deal with quarter life crisis?

Most of us joined their first job after college with very high hopes (Like : Yeaah my job, I'mma be solving real world problems now).
Most of our jobs turned out to be not so impactful. (like rudimentary shoveling data into neat piles of PPT).
And we have to do this for life.
I can't seem to shake of the feeling completely even after almost 3 years into working.
(Normalise time to ~1.5 years due to distorted sense of time due to Covid)

Why is it so that companies show excuses and say haywire things when you talk about increment after more than an year and still with multiple sittings you tend to get upto 20% hike or so. On contrary, they hire new people in same team for even upto 100% hike from their previous CTC. Nothing to old employee, but more than expected to new recruit! Can someone please answer this, why this happens?

My last company female manager has blocked me on WhatsApp after seeing my WhatsApp status displaying some major tech achievements. While I was in the company then also I had the hint that she is always acting as a blocker for my growth.
