Expensive when you consider expense ratio plus you do not receive dividends on the index. Can be used in conservative to moderate accounts, especially when you think the market is expensive.

Clearly not for aggressive investors. For conservative money to have a 15% down buffer and 8% upside cap seems pretty good. Looking back to March 2020 they barely feel below the buffer. When things seem to good to be true I get nervous, so I guess I'm looking for something in missing...

In qualified accounts caps aren't as important if you use then tactically. We use them a lot because if you look over time they do pretty well. They aren't for someone who's aggressive but we use them in replacement for regular sp500 funs for our moderate down portfolios

We are experiencing the bad scenario right now. We are up 30-40-50% over the trailing 12 months with an 8-10% cap.

@German 🐠🐟 I’m not a local but am potentially joining a startup in Berlin (have an offer but need to negotiate comp). Does anyone have a sense of what a reasonable salary range would be for someone with 3 YOE at McK (leaving at associate level) joining a Series A startup as a strategy manager. Would €60-90k be reasonable?

Do you find companies today interview without empathy, over-valuing technical skill, pressure tests, and first impressions? A follow-up to this, if you’ve been hired by a company based on your skills, ability to perform under pressure, and first impression- did you feel you made the right decision once settled in your role? I’m analyzing the evolution of interviews and a human-centered approach.

Hi guys, I am due to start working at EY soon within audit. I will be commuting to the office by train when in the Birmingham office. This will be from Leicester. Usually if a commute is about 1.5 hours+, Mazars authorises hotels. Is there a similar policy at EY? When not in the office I would prefer to drive to clients, not sure if me being in Leicester affects whether they will tell me to suck up an extended commute? Would a mileage claim be from the office to the client? Thanks!

Let’s pretend we’re holding companies. I’ll start: No, we can’t hire an extra writer even though you’re clocking 70+ hours a week. BTW, our contract with your client caps billable hours per employee because they know we don’t pay overtime. Here’s a non-billable code you should start using for the rest of the year.

Hi fishes, Please help me decide from the below two roles : Deloitte USI - Another resource for a very long term internal project. EY India - I would be given the responsibility of basically building up an SAP vertical from almost the scratch, along side a client facing project. I know we all love the work from home (or do we?) but does anyone actually miss traveling for their consulting engagements and all the fun that goes along with it? The late nights at the office then the bar and random hookups and excitement and all that? Sure it’s a grind but I think I actually miss it too. Maybe I just miss seeing people at work or seeing people at all. I wonder if we’ll ever get back to that.

I rolled off a project 3 months ago. They keep reaching out and asking me to help onboard new teammates to give them historical knowledge (it’s a long-term project). Do I have to keep doing this? Or does it get to a point where I can say I don’t have the time and there must be someone more recent who can help?
