I got an offer from IBM and wanted to understand how the PF deduction works.
So the compensation breakup is like
Fixed pay(basic+FBP) + Gratuity(4.8% of basic) + PF(12% of basic)

Is the PF mentioned in the offer breakup, employers PF or employee PF? If its the employers PF, will the same amount(12% of basic) will again be deducted from my fixed as employee PF contribution?

Do you get your annual raise if your on leave of absence from December to January?

I took the role I am in about a year ago and it just has not been what was promised and a huge step back. I have found a good place and am content but not overly happy with my place in the company. A smaller competitor reached out for a vp position that is a huge step up responsibility wise. There would be a pay raise but not huge so money is not the motivator here. Is this crazy to seriously consider? I hate to burn bridges. I have been told I am on the partner fast track. Thoughts? Advice?

I’m a public accounting boomerang and generally felt like this was a better fit because I missed traveling, meeting different kinds of people/clients, the flexibility, and mentoring opportunities and tolerated the hours. Now almost a year into the pandemic and most of these benefits are either watered down or gone entirely and I’m having a hard time dealing with the extra hours and stress when I basically have the same work setup as someone working 40 hrs a week. Senior Staff Consultant (Engineering) in a M->HCOL with 15 YOE currently making 95k. I feel I am underpaid. I am from another country working in the USA on an O1 visa. Can it be that my company is "using" that to their advantage? How do I approach this conversation? When I signed and agreed to my salary in March 2021 before coming over, costs in the USA in general (especially homes) were significantly lower than what they are now, effectively changing the value of my salary significantly.

I have this weird question, i was interviewed in a company saying there will be only 1 round followed by HR round for salary discussion. But they conducted 4 rounds and I cleared all the rounds and settled with 7lpa as they couldn't give what I asked (9lpa). It all happened 1 month back and haven't received offer yet. Now 3 days back they scheduled client round and again scheduled one more round tomorrow. Now can I ask more than what they offered since they scheduled these many rounds?

Ok so need an opinion. 98%of me wants to stay at my current position as a resource room teacher. 2% of me wants to change schools due to a toxic work environment.
